The former president of the Italian and European Virology Societies, Giorgio Palù: “If you are positive, it does not mean that you are ill. It does not mean that one is symptomatic and it does not mean that one is contagious. If you are asymptomatic it can only be traced during the research you do during the screening or during the so-called contact tracing. If you are asymptomatic, you don’t know. So does it make sense to follow and track the asymptomatic?”
